This was a ‘monster’ project that spanned prep, shoot and post. Collaborating on-set to guide the shoot process through to completing the VFX work in post was an incredibly rewarding experience.

Shooting at Arborfield Studios and various locations around the UK Jack worked as On-Set VFX Supervisor on the 'terrifyingly' long 159 day shoot. Collaborating with shoot crew to produce VFX work effectively and efficiently by referencing the storyboards and working within the predefined methodology and budget.

In post Jack supervised the TPO faction that joined the 'scarily' brilliant in-house compositing team, helping to produce over 500 finals. Wire removals, wig fixes, green screens… a truly ‘petrifying’ menagerie of VFX work.

Ultimately this ‘beast’ was tamed, the journey truly epic.

The Witcher Season 2

Gavin Round, VFX Producer of The Witcher Season 2 -

“TPO are fantastic! We were fortunate enough to have Jack with us for the duration of the shoot on the Witcher Season 2 as our On-Set VFX Supervisor and he continued with us into post as our lead in-house compositor. It worked really well and was so valuable having Jack with us in post giving us continuity from the shoot and all the knowledge that came with it regarding the discussions in prep and on-set and the intentions and methodologies.

We also needed to be pretty flexible with our in-house team in post and TPO were always quick to respond and provide us with great artists as required.”
